Go see a DR!!!! I hate seeing a dr for myself personally but this isnt food poisoning since you're not vomiting and with a fever it sounds serious - anything with a fever.... Go see a dr woman!!
I agree it sounds like some sort of stone. Could be appendicitis also.
Good luck!

Doctor? There are numerous possibilities but one that comes to mind is a partial bowel obstruction. The loose stool is what can seep around it.

I had some of the same problems and was told it was Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I started taking fiber regularly and I feel great now. For women in their 20's, IBS can start and is usually triggered by hormones (mine was usually worse the week before my period.) I also had a lot of ovary pain, was told it was cysts, but after starting the fiber supplement, that pain went away, too. When I was first dealing w/ IBS, I had BMs like once a day with no relief, either. It builds up and increasing fiber is the only way to get rid of all that's built up. good luck!

Seeing a doctor to find out what's wrong is a great idea. What you're describing sounds like some digestive problems I once had - that does not mean you're going through the same thing.
My problem was poor digestion, nothing real serious/life threatening. What I did was change my diet and restore the depleted good bacteria and enzymes in my gut and colon. The probiotc (to restore bacteria/enzymes) that I use today are especially good (beware: they are not all created equal). I wrote an article about it in my blog recently that you may find helpful in making a decision: http://aromatherapy4u.wordpress.com/2008/08/12/fos-prebio...
What I also did that helped was cut out ALL processed foods, ate more veggies (they have enzymes that our bodies need as long as we don't cook them to death!), no artificial sweeteners or fake foods either.
Here is a link to an article in the NY Times that is SO right on the money. If we can learn from this and apply what Michael Pollan is saying... wow, we would be so much more healthy individually and as a country. I started practicing what he's talking about maybe 20 years ago... he is so right on target...

Also, did you know... we're suppose to have one bowel movement for every meal we consume? For instance, eat once a day, have one BM. Eat 3 meals, have 3 BM's. That is normal. This is not to say what you're experiencing is normal, because it's not. I just thought I should mention it because too many people don't know what's normal any longer because the foods (the junk sold as food I should say) does NOT keep us healthy, normal or regular.
Take good care!

Definately see a doctor immediately. Could be many things from appendix to kidney infection, on and on. We all hope it is just a virus but best to have a licensed health professional diagnose it. If it turns out to be appendix, it could burst and that is dangerous. My son had appendicitis when he was 15 and it started with a feeling of gas and extreme pain like trapped gas. Never did I think he had appendicitis until the doctor diagnosed it. I don't run to the doctor for stuff usually, but you need to have this checked.

Dear E.,
The majority of the responses have instructed you to go see a doctor. I agree. Do not hesitate!!!
Appendicitis, cholecystitis (gall bladder), ruptured and obstructed bowels, and kidney issues have been mentioned. Those are very serious problems. Another one not mentioned is an ectopic pregnancy. Sweating with no fever is a sign that something could be terribly wrong.
Please, most of us want you to go to the emergency room now. Please let us know what happens.
Good luck!

I briefly read the other post and E., it sounds a lot like gallstones, YOU need MEDICAL ATTENTION ASAP. If they have to do an emergency then they will cut you wide open, but if you seek the medical attention they may be able to do it laproscopic surgery which is an outpatient procedure.

Hi E.,
sounds like you might have a UTI (urinary tract infection) they have tests kits at the pharmacy now so you can test for it. It will only get worse. Best to get it checked out if pain continues or gets worse. UTIs can be in your kidneys in a few days of ignoring it or waiting for relief.
I have had a lot of UTIs and you don't always have a fever. How about pain when you pee? Not always there either. don't wait much longer.
