Stocking Stuffers? - Eagle Mountain,UT
I have another question for all the wonderful moms out there. I do the whole Santa thing, including stockings, leaving the Santa stuff unwrapped, etc. Anyway, I have a really hard time coming up with stocking stuffers for my husband (let alone regular gifts) so I just was wondering, what are some of the things you wives buy for your husband's stocking? Thanks for your input, advice, ideas, etc.

Hi S. -
My husband loves peanuts in the shell - I always get him a big bag that just about fills his sock. He also likes Peanut m&m's - sometimes the stores have trains etc. from m&m's company and we all get a part to the train etc. One year I got Blue Man Group tickets and this year I think I'll be able to get SnowCross tickets. Fun things like that happen in January and you have a date night planned...
Have fun!

I get my husband practical things like, plastic tie wraps, batteries, socks, chapstick, hand and foot warmers, pens, pencils, erasers, highlighters, (he is a teacher)chocolates (3 pack ferrero rochet's), earbuds for his ipod, anything little that will fit in his stocking.

Stocking stuffers for the adults are things that we can use all the time. They sound boring, but finding little things to put in them can be a chore. For example, favorite gum or candy, aftershave, nail clippers, maybe some new head phones for a ipod. Anyway things like that.
Merry Christmas !

Look for little things like shaving cream, after shave, or anything like that. I like to find little gift card for his Ipod, starbucks, dvds and little things like that. Hope this helps

I always buy my hub a DVD - usually a TV series he really likes and his favorite candy of course. You could throw in a gift card for iTunes or Amazon, a music CD, a tie tack, a new razor or toothbrush. My husband loves to cook, so this year I am putting in a new potato peeler. LOL Just think what he has to do or loves to do and something small associated with that. I'm sure he'll love whatever you choose.

My husband collects knives so I always get him a pocket knife or a straight razor for shaving (He likes to do it old school)
And of course lifesavers and an orange in the toe. I also do Nuts in the shell and various candy and a juvenile toy of some sort. He loved the silly putty and slinky he got one year :)

buy the 10 pack cereal boxes; you know the small individual ones or use individual oatmeal bowls, then stick it in their stockings. Then they can have their favorite cereal that morning for breakfast. Don't forget the orange in the toe of the stocking! Other traditions we do are chocolate santas, life-saver books, a box of band-aids, and travel size everything, movies, lip balm & card games.

We usually do a variety of small items for the men, including batteries, snack food, sport gel packets, key rings (LED lights are very popular), bike tubes, socks, and chapstick. I stick an orange in the toe and a paperback out the top and I'm done. If he has a hobby, figure out what consumable thing he needs for that. Lucky for me, my father, hubby, father in law and brother are all cyclists.
Happy holidays and enjoy being a Christmas elf!

I asked my husband one year what he wanted for Christmas and he said (jokingly) to win the lottery. So, I got him $20 in lottery scratch tickets and put them in a really nice card and put that in his stocking. Now I do that every year. He has never won much but it is fun.
