I am a SAHM of 4; ages 6,5,2,13mo. I have been hearing a lot lately about steam mops and was looking for advice on the best brand. I have been looking into a H2O steam mop or maybe a Shark steam mop. My husband and I have been doing research and was wondering if the steam from these mops have been known to effect the glue that holds the linoleum?

Thanks

I have a Bissell steam mop and I cannot live without it! I tried the Shark, but I felt it does not clean as well as the Bissell does. The Bissell just seems that it is a lot more sturdy and cleans a bigger surface area at a time. My bet is the Bissell, but regardless a steam mop is the way to go!!

I also got a Shark steam mop for Christmas, and I love it! We have linoleum floors and I have had no problems with it at all. I have pergo wood floors and have not tried it on that, but since that stuff is glueless, I don't think it will be a problem, I am just feeling kinda lazy these days and haven't tried it yet! I think mop so much because there is no chemicals used so it is super safe.

I got a steam mop for Christmas and I really like it. I have not noticed any trouble with the linoleum. It has however cleaned the grout on the tile floors really well. We have the Shark and I am happy with it. The cord is long enough, it is lightweight and very easy to use. I also own an electric swiffer sweeper that I am in love with. Much better than a broom.

My mother in law got me a Shark for Christmas and I have been very pleased. I've used it on linoleum and tile and had zero issues.

Good luck!
