I don't know about costumes this time of year. But there's a party store by the Joliet Mall where Toys'R'Us and Subway are, it's around the corner from Subway and I bought star wars party supplies there in Feb for my step son's B-Day. Good Luck.

I just had a Star Wars party for my 4 year old last weekend. They have a lot of Star Wars stuff at Party city in Bolingbrook. I know they have costumes there in the back-may have Darth Vader to rent. They have the plates and cups and napkins for 1/2 off and if you have a coupon (you can even use them from other party stores like Card Party Outlet). Go to websites they usually have coupons you can print there. I bought goodie bags there for like $10 for a pack of 8 - they included all of the favors which included a Star Wars Slinky, sticker and some other stuff.
