We have a very naughty misbehaving dog in our house lately.... He peed on the rug 2x's now- any suggestions on whats a good cleaner for dog pee???? I know this is a random question but his pee is the brightest yellow ive ever seen and it stays behind after i use the regular household pet cleaners on it.... so if anyone has had this issue and has solved it, id love to hear from you!!!!

So What Happened?

I did the vinegar and water thing since thats what I had on hand. For the newer stain in was fabulous, for the one that was 2 days old- still can see it faintly. I may try it again just to see if it works the second time around. thanks everyone for the help, I will also keep those other product names in my head next time I am at the store/pet store!

Lots of water and then vinegar. You want to dilute that urine as fast as possible and the water will help a lot. Vinegar is the cleaner of the gods. Can't beat the price either!

i don't have a dog, so I've never had to clean up urine, but try to use white VINEGAR....I had a rust stain on my carpet that I was sure would never come up and I used VINEGAR and then shampooed it with my steam cleaner (i repeated the steps several times) but they came up. Good luck!!

It interests me that you think your dog is naughty and misbehaving. It could be that your dog is not well.

I use Woolite pet stain and odor remover. (and we don't even have an indoor pet!) My Mom buys a spray from the professional steam cleaning company, you could check with them. Otherwise, it may be worth it to buy a steam cleaner or have it professionally cleaned.

I use Folex for every stain on my carpets/rugs. For puppy urine, I use a shamwow type cloth to soak up as much as possible. Then I spray on Folex and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Then I use a clean white towel to soak up the Folex.

Nature's Miracle has never failed me. It even got a poop stain off a light cream rug.
