Springfield Area Playgroups?

I have also wondered abou this. I am a full time working mom, and I have also noticed most play groups are for SAHM's. My son is 9months, and I know even though the weekends can get busy it would still be nice to get a group together once a month or so.
I think there is probably more interest in this than many of us think.

Hi! We are an online moms group based out of Springfield. We are always looking for new members. We chat online and try to have playdates/meet up in the Springfield area. Any type of mom in the Springfield area (includes Nixa, Ozark and other surrounding areas) are welcome to join. I am also looking for some really motivated moms to become moderators on my site. I'm looking for moms that are outgoing and can really get other ladies motivated to participate in the group!

I have wondered this before, too, however all the groups seem to be for stay-at-home moms. It is really kind of hard to have a working moms group, I guess because once we get home from work, we don't typically want to meet--time to make dinner, play, spend time with our family, then it's bedtime!! And then of course you have the weekends--which is the most likely option, although that's filled with activities, shopping, cleaning, etc...
Anyway, I would still be interested, if you want to send me a message we could chat. My daugthter is older, 2 1/2, but we are expecting another baby in January. --S.

Oooh! I want to join too :) My husband works long hours a couple days a week and Tristan and I need to socialize :) Let me know!
