Moms....

I am looking for a good healthy glow - but I don't want to use a tanning bed! Tell me your secrets for sun-kissed, gorgeous skin!

Have you ever used the spray-tan at the tanning salons? If so, what results?

Do you have a self-tanner you simply love? All that I have used have made my skin orange!!

What can I do next?

I go to Planet Beach for the Mystic tanning. It looks great and lasts about a week, but beware they will try to sell you a membership.

not meaning to be condecending but love the skin you are in. none of that stuff is good for you. looking for a healthy glow...eat lots of veggies, fruits, nuts, clean water (no flouride), your skin will looking great from that.

I have used the spray on tan at the salon and was pleased. As far as self-tanning lotion, Mary Kay has a great one that doesn't have that orange look. If you are interested you can contact me.

I LOVE and swear by Versa spray tan at Palm Beach Tan. They have Mystic and Versa. Versa is more of a "natural" sun kissed color and it works great. My husband and I both do it regularly. :)

Hi S.,

I have used the spray on tan more several times. Sometimes I followed up with tanning in a bed and sometimes I didn't but depending on where you go for it, I have always had great results. I have heard of some people not having a great outcome, but if you go to a place that has the machine that does it and make sure and use the barrier cream exactly like your suppose to I think it's a wonderful way to get some color and I think you will like the results. Just keep in mind it doesn't last a real long time.

My daughter and I use the self tanners. We've not used the sray on ones from the salon. Here are a few we love....the Dove or Jergens lotion that has tanner in it is nice and not a drastic change.

We love the Clinique self tanner. It ismore pricey but it does a good even job.

Good luck!!

I like Strike Gold at Bath and Body works, but you have to follow the directions putting it on, do thin layers over the week, and blend really carefully around your feet. And don't put it on right before you go to the pool, try to build it up days ahead.

I also like the Jergens and Dove lotions as a self tanner, but not as a lotion. I still use my other lotion.
