Sports Drink Sale This Week? Gotta Bring Drinks to Soccer Tomorrow

We were told that we were bringing snack tomorrow so I planned on that, but tonight hubby told me that we're supposed to bring a sports drink. We have 15 kids on our team. Doesn't look like Kroger has them on sale like they did last week. Anyone see powerade or gatorade on sale at Albertsons or Walmart or Target this week?

What can I do next?

Try planning ahead. When you see them on sale buy up a few of them and keep them in a cool dark area. That way you'll have them when you need them. My friend buys the Rain flavored Gatorade any time she sees them. They seem to be hard to find in our neck of the woods...lol. So this way she always has a couple of 12 packs in their garage. If your kids like them they certainly won't go to waste. My problem was keeping the kids out of them.

Aldi has their own brand of sport drinks for $.69 per bottle if you have one in your area.

I'm not real keen on sports drinks and research shows they are not 'medically' necessary in most instances. How about you just show up with bottled water?
