Sports Bra - Gainesville,FL

I want to start running again, but I can't find an underwire sports bra that fits 36H. I was 36DD before having kids, and I'm breastfeeding right now. I have oversupply, so I'm not worried about an underwire bra restricting my milk supply, and it would only be for a little bit several times per week anyway. I loved the Enell bra, because it immobilized me, but they don't make it in 36H. I want underwire because my girls are about 7 pounds apiece, and I want complete immobilization. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

I am a underwire girl too :) the only bra I will wear and swear by is DKNY (donna Karen).. They are sold in the bra section of Nordstrom.. or Nordstrom.com.. They are so comfortable and even look nice under a tee shirt.. I do not dry mine in the dryer and they last longer. I do not bounce in this bra :)

JC Penney's catalog has a brand called Glamorize that are for bigger sizes. DDD and up. Maybe they may have something for your size, if not they would at least get the closest and I have found that to be my favorite for running. Them suckers don't move in it. Not sure it comes in underwire though, since I prefer them without.

Hope this helps.

For your size you may need to go to a specialty shop. You are almost that same size as my sister who is a HH. They often custom make or order bras. Usually stores that specialize in prostethics after mascetomies.

There is a store in Tampa Called Pennyrich.

I'm sure they can point you in the right direction.

I'm the same size as you - I have the Enell in the closest size and have found that it works well (as long as you don't need to breathe - ha!). As long as it's not for super extended periods of time, I think it's both supportive and comfortable.

I think you might try the High Impact Softcup by Freya, it doesn't have underwire, but I'm also a 36H, and I have sound it to be really supportive, the girls stay put!
Here is a link to the bra on one of my favorite bra shopping websites (great bras in our size):

I wore sports bras almost exclusively while nursing my son for the first year.....that was my preferred bra of choice as I hated nursing bras and didn't fit in other bras (plus they are hard to nurse with). I was a super producer, so I'd try anything that's comfortable and makes you feel good while running.

Have you tried specialty sports stores (running stores, etc) that may carry a better selection than a sporting goods store?
