Hi C. - Try calling Ruth Levisohn & Associates at the Neuro-Developmental Center. Their office is at I-25/Yale.

The phone number is ###-###-####. My son's speech therapist is Nickie Gosselin and she is terrific although the other practioners are all very very good.

I'm not in your area so I don't have any suggestions on a specific ST for you, but I will say that you need to get a second (and third if necessary) opinion!! The school my son went to last year said he didn't qualify for speech. Everyone else that's tested him in the last 3 1/2 years says he absolutely does! The tests they give sometimes are skewed by the person giving them...

Totally love Kim Burrows at Children's in Littleton. Before her, we had Tracy. I can't remember her last name, but she saw patients at both Littleton and Parker offices. Everyone I've talked to has had great things to say of the speech therapists at the Littleton office. We liked our feeding therapist there, too. The main number for the hospital is ###-###-####, or Littleton office is ###-###-####. I can't find Kim's direct number right off. My son has been out of speech for a year, and still talks about how much he loves Miss Kim and wishes he could still work with her. He's a bit jealous that his sister got his spot. :)

I have also worked with the Colorado Center for Speech and Hearing. I can't remember the gal's name, started with a C and was really pretty. :) She was great, but Children's was easier to work with from where we lived. GL! Just a thought -- is he ready to start reading? That has helped both my boys a lot!

Hi C.,
Both my son and daughter see Nancy Guerrero and we absolutely LOVE her! She incorporates vocabulary skills, spatial skills, and other basic skills into her speech instruction and formats her lessons in a fun, exciting fashion. Both of my kiddos have made HUGE strides and are much better prepared for kindergarten. (As an aside - my daughter is partially deaf and possibly has a couple of learning challnges and her progress has been phenomenal!) I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She is located in the Parker (Stonegate) area. Her number is ###-###-####.

Yes! I'm so glad you asked! My 4 year old son just finished speech therapy a month ago and his speech is amazing now. When he started his intelligibility was the level of a 2 year old and now he speaks even clearer than many other children his age! I would absolutely recommend Vianne Bjornberg in Westminster. Her number is ###-###-####. Tell her the Laszlo family sent you in and I promise she'll take excellent care of you and your little one! All the BEST!
