Yep, I said it. Yep, I did it. And it was delicous!! I always love Spanish olives while I'm pregnant. The salty, vinegary, cheek puckering yumminess is my weakness during pregnancy. And so far this time around, I've been loving peanut butter! So, I decided to combine them, and I adore the combo! It wasn't even a conscious decision, I swear i just grabbed both foods automatically and ate them together. It wasn't my choice, I swear!!

Anyone else with some totally off-the-wall, makes no sense preggo food combos??

What can I do next?

No, but I have weird combos when not preggo. I posted on facebook that I was having a cheese and pickle sandwich and people replied that it was gross/weird, and I didn't think so!!! So I posted about this last year I think and had over 100 responses,...people eat some "interesting" things! =)

Pregnancy #2 I craved anything cinnamon. Never before, or since, have I even come close to craving ANYTHING as much as I craved cinnamon while pregnant with her. :)

so far the weirdest thing for me is beef jerky and pickles and yes together. Take a bite of one and shove the other right behind it :) never had a Spanish Olive--sure it was delicious & peanut butter is always a staple when preggo for me too!

my husband was sooo looking forward to making a midnight run for some odd craving...my only craving was Edy's Rocky Road ice cream - HAD to be Edy's.

And Chinese food. Sesame Chickem, lemon chicken, sweet and sour pork...

Funny!

I really never had cravings.
I had food aversions instead.
Meat? Blecch.
The sight of a LOT of food at once (large portions, buffets, etc.) had me running from the room.
Slurpees? Sour Patch Kids? Yum. So....maybe junk food in general WAS my craving?

DH was really looking forward to some cravings. I didn't have ANY. I actually was less hungry pregnant than not pregnant and didn't gain anything during my pregnancy.

I remember one time when I was pregnant, I could just swear I could smell brownies cooking....

Of course, there weren't any cooking... so I went and baked some!

I had an odd one with my first pregnacy, and what remains funny to me now is how ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS this dish was to me at that time. Okay, so I took saltine crackers and put a scoop of standard, mayo-based tuna salad on top of it. The tuna had the mayo mixed in and also had onion and dill pickle, celery, etc., mixed in. So basically, a scoop of tuna salad on top of a saltine cracker, and then on top of that, a scoop of strawberry jelly.
At that time, it was the most absolutely delicious thing I had ever eaten in my life!
