Spa Baby Shower

I am hosting a baby shower and my friend would love a spa shower where everyone can get pedicures. So far I see Zenana spa & Barefoot sage could accommodate a shower. If you've hosted a shower like this and have any tips let me know!

What can I do next?

Aveda can accomodate, either NW or SE site. They will also let you bring in wine, food, etc. Steam room and mineral soak for those reaceiving spa (not salon) services.

Kalista, a funkier site, will also host parties. It's a fun place ~ in SE/Clinton area.

If you want fancy, Rumi-Simone spa in Lake Oswego is gorgeous and does parties. They have many services for pregnant women. They are more expensive, but really lovely. Steam room and sauna, along with services.

Can you tell that I LOVE spas? :-)

Barefoot Sage is the best. It is the most indulgent thing to do for yourself. Just all about the feet. That would be a great place to do something like that. Very nice atmosphere and great service.

Barefoot Sage rocks - but you kind of sit on your perspective comfy couch and relax. I'm not sure if it's condusive to people talking and everyone getting to be near the guest of honor. I remember reading on Portland Picks once about a company that did those kind of parties in your home. Not sure about the cost though.

You might try mobilemanicurist.com My friends and I are looking into it for a Mommies' Night. Good luck!

Just a warning: make sure that they can do all your pedis at the same time! I took my bridal party to a salon they said could accommodate all of us for pedis, and it ended up that we had to take turns! It was terrible...they only had one pedi chair, so it took forever and I really felt angry and misled.

That's my only advice for you. I'm obviously not an expert!

The Dragontree Spa (not sure on the spelling) has a great area for everyone to get the sweet and simple which is a 20 min foot soak and 20 min foot massage. They have a bunch of comfortable couches to sit on in a u shape and I hear they let you bring in your own food. I love going there and always think this would be perfect for a baby or bridal shower. Take care.
