My Mom has a gluten/casen allergy and she drinks Soy milk and rice milk. The cheapest place she has found it is Costco. Try the vanilla soy milk, it doesn't taste too bad. Hope this helps.

Check out the above website. I think it will help you to find which things do and don't contain gluten. I think that you'll be gluten-free with soy milk but you can always get the customer svc number off a battle and call to double check.

it is a differnt type of protein , you can try the rice milk except it has barley in it . very good choice if you are on a gluten free plan.

Also, another GF milk alternative is almond milk. My son loves it, especially in his GF cereal :) Some celiacs can tolerate barley (and oats) but I've heard that cross-contamination is the main problem with those grains. I'd stick to Silk or Almond milk just to be safe. Besides, I'm not a huge fan of the taste of rice milk!

Almond milk and rice milk are good gluten free choices. There are several brands available. Imagine foods would be a good one to start with. they have rice milks and just added almond milk. some companies have organic varities.
soy should be avoided and considered dangerous to ones' health- go to www.mercola.com and search soy. you will find many articles explaining why soy should be avoided....ESPECIALLY by pregnant or nursing moms and children. Don't be fooled by mainstream media's claims that soy is fabulous.
Best wishes
