Southdale Peds or Metro Peds?

Go with Southdale after getting some concrete feedback. I had a bad experience with two pediatricians at Metro-Peds, and warn anyone who inquires.

I have a 19 month old and we go to Metro Peds. We love them. Our main ped is Dr. Eaton. She is great with us and our child. She was the one that had did the intial check up at the hospital when our son was born and we have been with her ever since. The other doctors are great also. They can always get us in when we need to and their hours and locations are great. Hope this helps. Good luck!

We see Dr. Mari Daniels at Metro Peds. I have two children who have her as their pediatrician and we really like her.

We adore Dr. Hinrichs at Southdale Peds. We were undecided on a pediatrician before my son was born (he is 3 1/2 now) and she was the pediatrician in the hospital that checked on him. She was so wonderful there that we decided she was the one! Have also seen other docs at Sdale Peds and have had no complaints. Great nurse line there too.

Metro Peds is fantastic! We have been to both over the years and hands down...it's Metro Peds. Dr. Nersesian, Dr.Kane and Dr. Daniels are all top notch.

I LOVE Metro Peds...Dr. Daniels is fabulous. I travel from NE Mpls to see her, and everytime I can't get in with her, I have not been disappointed in the care my daughter has received from other drs. I also love Dr. Staley, but he is really hard to get in to. Good luck!

I love Metro Peds both of my children go there my daughter has been going there sence she was born two years ago and my son has been going for 3 over three years now. We go to the Shakopee one but I have heard that the other locations are just as good. We see Dr Julianna O'Laughlin and she is great my children LOVE her and she is so good with them. Hope that helps you out.

We also see Dr. McCarthy at Metro and we really like him. I have seen other peds there when my son had sick baby visits and have not had any problems. They are usually always on time as well, which is nice. The phone nurses are great, too.

Another vote for Metro Peds. We see Dr. O'Laughlin for my kids' well check-ups but we've seen many dr.'s for sick visits and have never been disappointed. Good luck w/ your decision and w/ you new baby!

I've also had a couple of bad experiences with pedis at Metro, but instead of switching offices I started taking my daughter to Dr. McCarthy at Metro. We've been seeing him for years and I really like him. He was the doc who had visited me in the hospital and i liked him right away. I don't know why I bothered seeing anyone else. I guess maybe because in the beginning it seems like you're always at the doctor's office and and first I just took whoever they gave me. Now I just ask for Dr. McCarthy even if it's for illness or a last minute appt.

In 7 years we have never had a bad doctor or bad experience at Southdale Peds. We love them!!

We have been going to Southdale Peds for over 8 yrs and highly recommend them. Make an appointment and go visit both, then decide for yourself. We have been very happy with Southdale Peds.

We got to Southdale Peds and Dr. Lawler in particular. We're very happy with her! We've seen other doctors there, too, and have been happy with everyone. I work in child care and many of the parents at my school are at either Metro or Southdale Peds... Don't think you can go 'wrong' with either.

We love Joan Williams at Southdale Peds. My daughter has gone there since day one (she just turned 16).
