South Shore OBGYN

I am desperate to find someone who really likes their OBGYN. I am in Hewlett, but anywhere on the South Shore (Oceanside, Long Beach, etc.) would be great.
I am about twenty weeks pregnant and since we just moved to Hewlett and I wasn't crazy about my last doctor to begin with, I would love a good recommendation. Thanks!

What can I do next?

what about Lynbrook? I can't say enough good things about Dr. Seraji and Linda Jaworoski, an OB/CNM team who work at Gentle Care OB-GYN on Merrick Ave in Lynbrook. Linda delivered my single pregancy and they were both present and involved in delivering my twin pregnancy. Phone number is ###-###-####.

I use an excellent OB/GYN. Dr.'s Sherwin & Plancher of Garden City OB/GYN ###-###-#### located on Stewart Ave. They also have a midwife practitioner in the office as well. They are associated with Winthrop Univ. Hosp in Mineola. The are professional & efficient, I have been going there for six years and have been in/out in 1/2 hour for every appt. Good Luck.

Hi,
My doctor is at 130 Merrck Road
Lynbrook, NY 11563
###-###-####
(Not too far from Hot Skates)
His name is Dr. Seraji. He has a mid-wife, Linda. She delivered my baby and was wonderful. The only thing is you usually wait a while, especially if your appt. is later in the day.
Good luck, Tahara

I go to Dr. Peyman Zandieh in Bethpage. ###-###-####... (off of Rt 135/Heps. turn pike.
He is on his own which I love. He gets to really know you. He is young too. I think maybe 39 or 40 which I love because he really is up on everything...

He is an OBGYN, fertility specialist and a pelvic surg.

I started going to him for my fertility issues and he would call me back on FRIDAY NIGHTS from the hospital and even offered to open his office for me on Saturday morning just to check me.... I would call him with EVERYTHING!! He is just so wonderful, he even hosted a dinner for all his pregnant patients at 7th street cafe in Garden City!!!
What Dr would do that?????

Hi, we live in Valley Stream. I love my obgyn. Her name is Dr.Geeta Narula and she is on Stewart Ave. in Garden City.It takes only 15-20 minutes to get to her office.
She was wonderful during my pregnancy and did a great job during the delivery of our son. Just a great doctor. She was referred to me by a friend. Our son is now 3 and a half.

Best of luck to you.

I'm not sure if this would be too far but I love my group at the Women's Health Pavillion in Westbury (372 Post Ave, ###-###-####). They also have an office in Howard Beach (82-12 151st Ave, ###-###-####) which might be closer for you, and there are offices in Forest Hills and Richmond Hill too. I delivered at LIJ. Dr. Andre Saad is really gentle and comforting. His father originally started the practice and has since retired. Dr. Scarantino is really smart and by the book- he did my c-section (I'm only 5 feet tall and I had a big baby) and the scar is so neat and he was really great during my labor as well- calm and straight-forward. They are both in their late 30's to early 40's. I also saw Dr. Manna a lot because he has late afternoon hours some nights so I could come after work. He is probably about 5 years from retirement and he is like an Italian grandpa- really great. He did my son's circumcision and I was so nervous, but all the nurses at the hospital and my pediatrician all commented that he did a great job. The staff is also really nice and they always remember me when I come in and offer to watch my son while I am in with the doctor. You can get an appointment quickly if you need one too. I originally had a female doctor but when I moved to Long Island, I got a recommendations to go there from my husband's boss, who is a doctor. I have been going there for 4 years and since then, my best friend and my sister-in-law have also had their babies with them and they both love the practice too.
