Sore Throat Remedies
Anyone have any good sore throat remedies? I have chloraseptic drops but I only have 2 left and they aren't really working anyway. I'm having some hot tea...hoping that helps.

I know this sounds gross, but it really helps. Gargle with apple cider vinegar. Cut it with just a little water to help you be brave, but let it get back in there, and keep it back there as long as you can stand it. Swallowing just a tad is good too.
Your sore throat has changed the pH balance in there. The vinegar helps put the pH balance back where it should be.
Hope you get better soon!

Gargle salt water
Hot tea (maybe it's just because it's what my mom used to do for me)
Advil (specifically because it doesn't just ease pain but it's an anti-inflamatory and can help with irritation, swelling as well)
Something for drainage because if it's not viral or bacterial, it's allergy drainage.

Most people don't have this on hand, but I put 15 drops of grapefruit seed extract in warm water and gargle. It takes the pain away very fast and kills germs.
Honey and lemon works great too. I hope the tea gives you some relief!

If gargling salt water doesn't help, snort it. I know it sounds gross but it's worked for me before. Also make sure to have a humidifer running in your house or room. Stand in the bathroom and run the shower really hot to see if that will help.
