Something Going Around

Sounds like rotavirus.

My son had it at the beginning of the year. We went to the doctor because he had a fever for 5 days. The doctor said that the fever was due to an ear infection and while his immune system was working on that he got the CRUDD (That was his word). The diarrhea went away after another 2 days. During the whole thing he felt fine except for the diarrhea, sore throat and cough.

your definitely not alone here. i dont understand how or where it came from but all of a sudden the other day i got sick like that, then my daughter, then my husband, then it was our neighbor, our friends and their kids, the only thing is we all got colds too, not just the cough...im not sure what it is either but theres definitely something going around. we all still have the cold but the other symptoms are pretty much gone. hopefully whatever is going around wont last too long

It does sound like the rotavirus. A few years ago, my children and husband had it but for some reason I never picked it up. They had diarhea and occasional vomitting for like 3 months. It was crazy. If the diarrhea keeps up for a few weeks, then that's what it is. Spray down your house with something that kills viruses. Melaleuca probably has something that would be perfect for that, which will not make your house smell terrible and make it hard for you to breath, like Lysol would do.

In south of Houston. I watch 2 families kids. My hubby got it. The other daddies got it. And two of their kids got it. One of the kids is congested maybe pink eye and then the mommy pink eye. All in one week. I made it fine and my daugters are fine. ??? Don't know. Everybody is over it now.

Both my 5 yeald boy and myself have the same thing. I have asked around and noone knows. It just seems to run it's course. If I find out more, I'll let you know. I'm nervous because I'm High risk pregnancy.
