Someone to Cut My Hair for Locks of Love

Hi all! I am looking for someone to cut my hair for me to donate it to Locks of Love. I plan to take off at least 10 inches (their minimum necessary). I don't want to go to pro-cuts or supercuts, but I don't want to have to spend an arm and a leg either. On the Locks of Love website, it says that displaying the Locks of Love decal will represent that a salon provides free cuts and styles to anyone donating 10 inches or more of hair, but I have yet to find a participating salon either. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for your help everyone!

My hairstylist is Sarah Jo Brinson in Galaxy of Salons in Allen at McDermott and I-75. She has been doing my hair since I moved to Allen three years ago and I love her. She is a Locks of Love hairstylist and if you are interesting in using her the number is ###-###-####.

Hello A.,
My hairstylist may participate in that. I once heard her talking about it with another client. She normally charges about $55 for a haircut, but like I said, she may participate and cut you a deal.
Give her a call and let her know that her client, J., referred you.
Her name is A. Housely - ###-###-####.
Hope this helps you.

Hi A.,
My name is S.. I have a friend who cuts hair on the side if you like I will call her and see what she would charge you if anything to do it. She is a stay at home mom and has a few very particular clients she cuts at home. Let me know.

Hi A.,
Go to the Locks of Love web site and there is an email address that you can write to to get the names of local salons that participate. I too am waiting for their response.

Ask your regular hairstylist if she would give you a discount. I went to my regular hair stylist when I donated my hair to Locks of Love. She put my hair in a ponytail, cut my hair and styled it. Their website has instructions for sending it yourself. I had to pay for the haircut and the shipping, but it was so worth it! I spent less than $20 total and I loved my haircut. All of the free places on the Locks of Love website looked questionable for a decent cut.

Good luck!
