The only way to not get pregnant is to not have sex so believe it condom or not you could very well be pregnant. Wait a few days and take another but the only way to be certain is to go to the dr.

Test again in a day or two with first morning urine. You might be pregnant.

I think you have to do the test correctly. It says a thin blue line after 3 to 4 minutes, right? That's what they usually say. They also usually say that the results are not correct or may not be correct after a certain amount of time has passed. So, I say, take a test again within a week and read the test at the correct time.

Yes I did get pregnant using a condoms and the pill. Forgot the pill and the condom was "just in case"...just in case is now in 1st grade! Best thing that evey happened to me.

ETA: oops I didn't really answer your question...retest but it sounds like you're pregnant.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! It happens to the best of us. O will be two in 12 days and he was conceived while using a condom :D

When I was pregnant with my third daughter my pos. line was VERY faint and it took a few mins to show up. If you have any pos. line chances are you are pregant.. remember there is more of a chance for a fals neg. then false pos. CONGRATS if you are :)

I've spent a lot of time on the TTC boards online.
Blue dye tests are notorious for giving false positives.
Yours could be one of them.
I would retest w/ a pink dye test. They are far more accurate.

Absolutely you could be pregnant. I got pregnant with my second while breastfeeding, on the pill and with condoms. I would take another test in a few days. I am just not one of those people who trust the first test, in fact i never buy just 1 test I usually buy a 3 pack. I did this with both of my children because I could never fully trust the 1st, the second could have had a false neg or false pos(not really but in my head these were senarios that could have happened) and the third to be absolutely possitive. I took them 2 days apart each time.

You don't need to waste your money on an expensive test. I have always used tests from Dollar Tree, which of course cost a dollar, and they are accurate. I actually tested before you're "supposed to" and got a positive test, but it was VERY faint, so I bought two more, waited about two days, and took them both JUST to prove to my husband that yes, I was pregnant. :)

You should retest tomorrow and here is why... after so long the test is null and void. If it wasn't positive right away and only after 10 mins I would not trust that test. I can't think of the right wording but its like the test expires after X amount of minutes. Please retest!

Every time I have used a test it came from the dollar store and I have never had a false positive. I have had one that was very very faint, bought another one and a few days later tested again and it was a strong solid line.

Condoms arent' 100% so its possible.

Double test with a digital one if you have to that actually says "pregnant" or "not pregnant" or get the doctor to confirm.

Well I would wait a few days and take another one or get a doc to confirm. Yes it is possible to get preggo using condoms. Hey, I got preggo while taking the pill religously, same time of day too. Also, I heard the best time to take a pregnancy test is in the morning because that is when your hormones are at its highest level, so I would try this for the next test. My friend is 2 months pregnant--they were using condoms. It's definitely possible. A faint line is a positive line, but definitely take another test to verify. Dollar Tree tests are fine (even better than many other brands)...if you use your first morning urine, your positive result line should be darker. Congratulations!!

I have never really heard good things about blue dye tests. Buy another one in a few days and make sure it is pink dye. To answer your question, if yhou are sure it showed up within the 10 minutes and not after, then a line is a line.

A condom is the least reliable at preventing a pregnancy. If I didn't want to be pregnant I would also use a spermacide to increase the protection. Since you got a thin blue line, I'm guessing you are pregnant but I'd do the test again in 24 hours.

The only thing that concerns me is that it took ten minutes to show positive. But if that is within the time limit, then it's probably accurate. My baby I just had, when I tested with her, the line was super faint, but it showed up within less than a minute. It never got dark. I could hardly see it. But any line is a line. But since it took so long for yours to show up, I'd just double check it and make sure it's there again. Try with morning urine. It has the highest concentration of the pregnancy hormone. You probably are pregnant...hehe...so congratulations!

Any faint line visible to the eye = you're pregnant. If the hormones were not in your system, there would be no line.

My four year old gave me about 10 FAINT lines. I'd go get a blood test, it's the only way you'll know for sure now. Or wait a few days and try again. False positives are very rare.

You sound prego to me ;) Condoms fail, any line whether thin or faint is usually considered a positive test. Wait a couple days and take another, but if it were me, I would think of that as positive. With my second the line was very faint, but there and so is he :D Good luck!

yah i pregnant on the pill hes 7.....pregnant on the depo shes 2.....id say it coud happen and i was just reading your post from the other day....sounds like it happens alot more than i woud've guessed
