SO Bloated, All the Time, Please Help
I am a 27 mom of 3 kids. I used to think that it was just belly fat from all the babies. (my youngest is only 7 months and i'm still breastfeeding) but i know it's something else. I am always sooo bloated. I mean I look like i'm 5 months pregnant, no joke. I am uncomfortable and miserable. I have tried all kind of remedies and over the counter pills and nothing seems to help. Please if anyone has some ideas, I would love to hear them

Please make an appointment with your gyn and ask to have a blood test done to check for ovarian cancer. I know that's a scary thing to have thrown at you, but it is something you need to rule out. You should have a pelvic exam as well.
I hope that you go quickly.

I have the same problem. My gen doc did all the blood work - fine. We did a cat scan and found a large amount of stool in my intestines. He put me on Mirilax to help clear me out. I also got a good probiotic pill that I take daily. Now that I am going a little more regularly I am looking at my diet and what makes me bloat and lucky me, it's onion and garlic (two foods I eat ALL the time in my meals). I have no idea what to eat that does not contain onion and garlic and tastes good :). I just got some Beano that you take before you eat a gassy food. So I will see how that helps.
I am getting sick of people asking when I am due. ;)
I feel your pain.

Lemon in your water can help in small amounts. A more fun way to help would be to go to a hot sauna. Korean spas are the best!

I had that same symptom and discovered that I have a gluten sensitivity. It had me constipated and my lower intestines inflamed. after your ob-gyn, see a gastroenterologist.

have you checked your diet? lots of granola? green veggies? these can cause bloating... not enough fiber? irregular bowel movements? all these can contribute... as well as first stages of lactose intolerance. If you eat much dairy or milk you may be becoming intolerant. Bloating is a big issue. I have been having bloating problems and found it was my move to more whole grains that is causing it. I ate too much too fast. Granola (which is my favorite) is now my enemy.
Maybe its time for a doctors visit to a gen doc, then explain to be sure its not a bowel related issue. Its most likely dietary.

First, you should see your doctor about it. There are numerous medical issues ranging from easily fixed to serious that can cause severe bloating. Not to scare you -but have it checked out!
If that all checks out fine, cut out most of the carbs in your diet. Don't eat gluten! No white flours, pastas, wheat crackers, pizzas -that sort of thing. Cut out sugar. You will be surprised at how good you feel, and your belly will probably deflate amazingly fast.
