G. - it has snowed in Georgia...Tennessee, the Carolina's, Virginia - if you want to make a DC trip out of it...

There are ski resorts open here in VA and West Virginia already - it's a 16 hour drive or a 3 hour flight...

Tyndall AFB had a really good snow event last February;
the great smokey mtns, Gatlinburg, Tennessee;
Snow Mountian @ Stonemountain, Georgia;
otherwise your best bet is southwest airlines for cheap tickets to some bigger ski resorts.
Celebration, FL after turkey dayis your best bet for some fake snow to run through but no tubing or anything like that.
