I use this wonderful cleaner to not only take smells out of carpet but also to clean. The product is called Sol-U-Mel by Melaleuca. It is natural and has a wonderful fragrance. If you are interested in finding out about this product or Melaleuca, please let me know. thanks

This has happened to me. We had fresh shrip in a soft cooler that leaked all over the back set carpet. They only way to get the small out is to have the pad under the carpet replaced and the carpet preofeeionally cleaned.

Try something called Fresh-Wave. comes in a variety of ways, spray, crystals or gel. Google it and find out where to buy in your area. Many ACE hardwares or True Value have it. Works great !

for smell

Try sprinkling ground coffee around all the areas that you can. For some reason, coffee grounds absorb odor better than anything I know of.

I would have it professionally cleaned. You need a hot water extraction with an professional grade enzyme. The febreeze just covers up the smell, the root of the problem is in the cusions. You can take it to a car wash company, or have your carpet cleaning company clean it for you at your home (if you don't have one, I own one and would love to help). First Class Cleaning ###-###-####, www.LoveYOurCarpets.com. I have several clients that have us clean their car upholstery while we are at their home doing their carpets. It's very convenient.

Hi M.!

My husband and I own Joy Carpet Dry Cleaning in Plano. We specialize in the Host Dry Extraction System and are a 6-time winner of Reader's Choice Best Pick in Collin County. The best thing that we would recommend for this challenge is to use our Host Spot Removal Kit. You can stop by our store and we'd be happy to show you how and to be of service as a DIY or we can remedy it for you. You can clean up this annoying spill and odor immediately with our advanced formula Host Sponges Carpet Cleaner. It is a soft, natural product that is environmentally friendly. Host Cleaner consists of tiny "sponges" moistened with green-cleaning chemistry. The Host Cleaner dissolves, absorbs and traps soil, spots and odors as it cleans, and is removed by simply vacuuming. It couldn't be any easier!!

We wouldn't recommend that you re-wet the spill with a wet extraction method. Your carpet will be clean, dry and ready to use and enjoy right away! If the odor is still apparent, we can place a Plasma Air Purifier with seek and destroy plasma technology. This device will be placed in your car overnight and the plasma molecules will attack the odor at its source, along with any viruses, germs and bacteria that may be in your car.

To find out more contact us right away at ###-###-####! We are here to serve your needs. View a testimonial about our services right here at mamasource.com under "carpet cleaning."

Thanks,

M.
