Sleepers with Feet, Size 18 Months

I am wondering which sleepers have worked best for you. I prefer the ones with feet in them, and we do like Carters. The light weight summer ones from The Children's Place have too much pull on them, meaning, my son can crawl right out of them..... What has worked for you, and at what age did you introduce a blanket into their crib? Thanks!!

What can I do next?

I really like Carters. But i use just about all brands. I prefer the cozy fleece ones in the winter. My only suggestion is getting the ones that have a zipper instead of buttons. So much easier to get on/off when changing a diaper!! My daughter started liking a blanket around 11 months. I felt comfortable giving her one by then too.

I used Gerber, but you have to buy 1 size larger...I bought them at Walmart.

I too prefer sleepers with feet so that I don't have to put the kids in socks. The tried-and-true brand for my daughter has always been Carters. But I had trouble finding a summer weight sleepers at Carters, with feet, for my son this year in anything larger than 12 months. A couple weeks ago, I found some nice lighter-weight cotton sleepers at Costco from the brand "Little Me." They have long sleeves (which I also prefer, since my son is not using a blanket yet). The material weight is great for when the air conditioner is on, but a touch too heavy for a really warm, humid night with windows open.

I think "Little Me" is carried at some nicer Dept. stores, but I'm not sure which ones. I was at Costco this weekend and saw that they still had the sleepers. The size runs to 4T.

I didn't put a blanket in my daughters crib until she was about 20 months old. But I'm sure that is MUCH later than most people! My son does not have one yet. Maybe this winter.

I liked the children's place cotton sleepers (w/feet) when my daughter was a newborn. I'm not positive, but I think the sizes go up to 4 or 5t. Watch for sales, sometimes you can get 2 or 3 for a combo/sale price.
I like the feet more so when the weather is cold. My son will usually wear socks to bed. Once potty trained, I thought it wouldn't be a good idea to have one piece pj's.

I always used a very light weight blanket for my kids. It was waffle thread with the satin around the edge. My favorite was light weight sleepers were Carters.

We actually prefer the cotton sleepers without feet and just put socks on my son instead. Gymboree and Hannah Anderson make the nicest ones (the HA ones are REALLY soft and nice, though can be $. You can often get them on sale though - especially the really bright holiday-type prints)

As for a blanket, we started using a crib-sized fleece-type blanket in our son's bed at around 6 months (it was winter then), but we would basically lay him on the edge, wrap it over him, and tuck it underneath him again (his arms were out and the blanket was just below his armpits). It stayed tucked all night and was away from his face, so I didn't worry about SIDS with that. Once he was old enough to roll over and sit up I *really* didn't worry about SIDS.

I also like the Carter's. But for summer we have just been putting him in pajamas either long pants or shorts because his room does not have air conditioning. Also, he hates to have his feet covered. We got them a Sears.

He has had a blanket in his crib since about 6 months with no problem.

I like the sleepers with the feet also. We have Carters and the one's from the disney store are very nice also. The Disney store sleepers are have a good snug fit to them. Those are actually our favorite. My girls (twins 13 months) have had a blanket in their crib since day one, and we have never had a problem.
