One thing that helps me is exercising regularly. A warm (not hot) bath helps me to relax. Eating a snack that has some tryptophan (think a slice or two of turkey) is supposed to help as well.
Good luck!

Sleep is vital to our mind, body & spirit. Its the time when all our cells recharge. Developing insomnia is a learned habit & you can unlearn it by listening to a relaxation recording nightly. You can get them online or at a bookstore. If this habit has been longstanding or if there are fearful thought patterns that may need to be interrupted consider consulting with a certified hypnotist.
