Have you looked in to the double stroller from One Step Ahead? It's the one I use and so far I love it. I have the bigger of the two models where the back can either be a sit, stand or chair option for my 3 year old, and the front has the capability to hold the infant carrier for my 3 month old. And it is lightweight. The only drawback is the basket underneath. It is kind of on the small side but if you unbutton the sides it's bearable, plus I just hang the diaper bag off of the back anyway. There is a cupholder and a small compartment for keys or whatever. I got mine for about $180. Go to www.onestepahead.com

Good luck!

I just got the Joovy Caboose Ultralight. Babies R Us sells it, but only online (they have the older Joovy Caboose model in most stores). I got mine a little cheaper at Amazon.com ($229, free shipping, no tax). It's more expensive than the others, but it is lighter and much easier to steer. It's a wonderful stroller and I have no complaints at all. It does have an attachment for the infant seat. http://www.amazon.com/Joovy-Caboose-Ultralight-Tandem-Str...

My friend has the Joovy S&S and it has worked well for her. I tried it out for my twins but they were too big for the seat, definitely for a baby and older child.

I saw them at USA Baby in Frisco and Dallas near the mall...North Park Mall, I believe.

Good luck.

Hi, C.. I am in the same position as you...I have a 22 month old and child #2 due in February. We were having the same dilemma and I was online researching everyday, and when we would go to the mall, I would be scoping out other moms' double strollers. I am glad to say that I just ordered mine online yesterday. We decided to go with the Baby Trend Sit N Stand Deluxe and here's why: My oldest isn't quite old enough to have just a "jump seat" in the back and I still need for him to be confined and safe when we go out and about. This stroller has two actual seats for the kiddos and can convert later to a regular sit n stand when we're ready for it. The front seat will accomodate an infant carrier. Unfortunately, our Combi connection infant seat would not fit, so we are having to purchase a new infant seat. I also ordered this on walmart.com yesterday - we went with the matching Baby Trend Flex Loc, which has gotten good reviews and is rated #1 in crash testing. We figured that buying a stroller that could grow with us and a new infant seat was cheaper than buying the Combi stroller that would fit in the infant seat and then still have to buy another stroller later. If, interested in this stroller, I found ours the cheapest on Amazon.com for 151.90 with no tax and free shipping. Hope this helps!!

I really like my Joovy sit and stand, but I think that's the one that Babies R Us carries. It is very sturdy and pretty easy to maneuver. Good luck!

I have the Joovy Caboose and have been very happy with it. It is not too long or hard to steer through places. Wal-Mart and Target both carry one--I believe it is called the Sit-n-Stand, which I considered. You can view the latest model on the target website. I have seen it in Wal-Mart as well. I like the new model of the sit-n-stand. Both the Joovy and the other one have an attachment that allows you to use your car seat. Neither of these strollers is perfect. The Joovy is heavier--it has a metal frame. However, the stroller can hold more weight overall. The front seat does not lay all the way back on either brand. You have to buy an accessory for the Joovy to have a cup holder for the adult. I think the lower compartment is a little easier to reach on the sit-n-stand. I recommend going to the stores with your older child and your infant seat and trying them out. See how you like the steering, folding, and weight.

If I understand you correctly, you want a stroller where your older child can stand up and ride while the yonger on sits. right? If so, I am in the same situation and my stroller, the bugaboo cameleon has an attachment called the wheeled board. I have attached a link to a website so you can see it. The stroller is expensive but I do love it. The only issue I have with it is that is seperates into different pieces so putting it into your car or going through airport security can be cumbersome. Besides that, it moves easily and the covers are easy to wash. It also has an attachment that allows you to put a infant seat in place of the stroller seat.

The Joovy Caboose is my favorite. It is fabulous! I have a 4 year old and an infant, and it works with and without a car seat, so it grows with your baby. My four year old loves being able to stand while we roll, or when she gets tired, she just sits down to ride. I got it at tinyride.com Good luck to you!
