Similac Advance on 7-Month Old Baby
Is it okay for a 7-month old baby to still use Similac Advance (Step1)? or should she start using Similac Go & Grow (Step 2) already? Is it safe for her to still use it even though she's already 7 months old?

I still have like 8 cans of it at home and I think it's too costly for me if I'd just give it away.

Anything with soy will bring about hormone activity later that is not desirable. Growth of normal children is not helped with soy and it is now grown genetically modified if not organic. I would try an alternative if it were my child. Goats milk or other milks are better in the long run. Are you breastfeeding also?

It is perfectly fine to use(as the label says from birth to 12 months). We used this for our daughter until she was 1 then switched her to regular milk. We did not feel the need to use the go and grow.
As for our son I switched him from advance soy to advance early shield because I didn't like the fact that the main ingredients in the soy were sugar based. I should have read the ingredients when our daughter was little too.

Stay with similac advance until at least 9 months (goes up to 12 months). Go and grow is for 9 months and up.

its ok for her to use it till shes 9 months i have a 11 month old girl and she took it till nine months after that she would only take one full bottle because she would eat 3 meals and 3 snacks her doctor said by 9 months they should eat more food then bottle at least just one then when their 12 months they should drink regular milk but my daughter still drinks at least a bottle of similac and she perfectly fine good luck best wishes
