Hi M., I too did the ovulating thing and there is no way of knowing till you a miss a period. I just found out that I am pregnant with our second. It took me two tries again and I finally got pregnant. My pregnancy was detected right away this time when it took 8 weeks with my first one to detect I guess cause the HCG level. Its too early to see baby yet. I figure I must be 3 to 4 weeks. So in another 4 I will see baby. Sperm can live for 3 days just so you know. I went to babycenter.com to calculate my times to ovulate. How I new I might be pregnant was the cramping in uterus, and frequent urination. I was only 4 days late from period. I was skeptical at first to take test cause with my frist she never showed up right away. I hope this helps and I hope you get pregnant soon. I was a little frustrated this time, cause it took 2 months to get my period after IUD.

What I noticed was cramping, spotting (thought I had a short and light period), and some weeks after that my nipples STUNG so much it woke me up in the middle of the night. I developed dark veins in my breasts and noticed that I felt exhausted. A month after conception I got morning sick.

I'm pregnant again now. I had cramps again, no spotting, no stinging. I took the prengnacy test because I felt so tired and downright sick for a couple days -- POSITIVE! I was morning sick almost right from day one.

Very best of luck to you!!

The main thing I noticed prior to taking my pregnancy test was fatigue and I actually thought I might be coming down with the flu (it was my first). I didn't think I was pregnant at first because my hubby and I had taken a break from trying to get pregnant. Next thing I knew, I was spotting when I shouldn't be but ever so lightly (now i know this was the implantation). I tested the next day because a friend suggested it and went to the doc the following day due to the spotting concern and to verify. Doc said my HCG levels were super low so I had to have just gotten pregnant. I wasn't even due for a period for another couple of days so I guess I new within week 3 or so. Good luck with everything... Best wishes!

For me in both of my pregnancies the first symptom was breast tenderness (more like pain all the time) that started before a missed period. The second symptom was the veins becoming dark and prominent in my breasts. Right before I was supposed to get my period I started with the morning sickness, but I know everyone is different. I also noticed my sense of smell became a superpower and I was very emotional for no reason. Blame those darn hormones. I knew well before any test came back positive with both kids, but I have a friend who was 2 months pregnant and didn't even know it, so no two pregnancies are identical. I would recommend buying a multipack of pregnancy tests and testing per their directions. Good luck.

Hello M.,
It took a year for me to get pregnant with my daughter and at the point I thought it would never happen so I stopped paying attention to the "signs" =o) I too an trying for number (ok, number 3 in yours case) and was wondering the same thing. I feel cramping and think, oh maybe this time it only took 10 months, or I feel a little sick. Thanks for posting the question and the only reason for my post is to support you and let you know you are not alone! =o) Best of luck!

I am pregnant with my 2nd child (15 weeks) and both pregnancies I had cramping for about 2 weeks and it was the worst around the time I was supposed to start my period. The 1st time I was bummed because I thought I was going to start my period and then realized it was a sign of pregnancy also. The fatigue, morning sickness and fatigue didn't start for me until about 7 weeks or so.
