Aria Twin by Peg Perego - Side by Side Double Stroller Opinions
Hi Mommies,
I have been researching double strollers - it has been the most research I have done on anything, and I still cannot decide. I have a side by side Jeep stroller, it works but I really want a higher-end stroller. I use the stroller A LOT. I have three children, but I use the stroller for my 3 year old and my 18 month old. I carry the newborn in a sling. I thought I had it down to the the Zooper Tango Twin and the Baby Planet Unity Twin, but I am second guessing myself. Can you please offer me your opinions? Some of the things that are important to me are; 1. width of stroller 2. Handlebar and ease of pushing 3. weight. I would also like it to be cute, but that is further down the list. I do not use it outdoors often, so I do not need huge sunshades and I do not want a jogging stroller. Please help!!

I have the Peg Aria which is side by side and I love it. Its very light and it is so easy to push around - even with my 40 pound 4 year old in it! Good luck.

I looked at double strollers for months. I finally decided on the Combi Twin Savvy for these reasons - 1. I loved how easy it was to push 2. It was lightweight 3. It tri-folded VERY easily and was very compact in my trunk. I know it is not a high end stroller, but I love it. I "test drove" EVERY stroller out there and this one was my favorite! Good luck!

If you are interested, I have a used Zooper I'd be willing to sell. My twins are now 5 years old, so it's just sitting in the garage...
We loved this stroller. One of the main reasons we bought it is the adjustable height of the handlebars. I'm pretty short and my husband is tall. Strollers that were comfortable for me to push hurt his back.
Both seats recline all the way so we were able to put newborns in it with no problem, the seats also reline individually so once they got older if one wanted to nap and the other did not, it wasn't a problem.
It came with all the accessories, rain guard, wind guard, etc.
I was very sad when they would no longer ride in the stroller and wanted to walk.
I know some have said that the side by side won't fit in stores, but this Zooper is the same width of a wheelchair and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires that stores maintain at least enough clearance for a wheelchair to get through. I never had too many problems.
anyway, if you are interested, just click on my name up there and send me a message. I'll talk to the hubby to decided how much we want for it.

I spent some time looking. Our budget wasn't quite "high end" but I did wind up getting a more expensive one. We got the Maclaren Twin. Its dark brown, very stylish. My diaper bag is also dark brown. It collapses easily and is fairly lightweight. It will last until toddlerhood for sure. I started using it as soon as we brought the boys home when they were 6-7 pounds. I use it almost every day.
Our jogg stroller is a Safari Twin by instep thhat I actually got off craigslist in very good shape. I use it every morning for our walk. Totally worth the extra research.

I too am in the market...I have heard from a runner that she HATED her Zooper...but if you aren't running with it, may not be a big deal. I think we are going with the Peg Aria 60/40 side by side. I have the singe onehand, it is SOOO easy. Hoping the double is as good. However, mine will be a newborn and 18 months in December...otherwise, if my 1st was older i would certainly do the sit and stand! It just LOOKS way easier.
Good luck, would love to know what you end up with and think!!!

Hi C.! I, too, did about two months worth of research before I purchased my last stroller. I have used both side by side and the tandem (front and back). Just like you, I had three kids in three years. :) The side by side is often too wide and doesn't fit in stores, so keep that in mind. I also had a quad stroller, which isn't good as the kids get older and heavier. The tandem workded well, but mine was kind of hard to turn.
So, when it came time to purchased another stroller last year when baby #4 came, I wanted a sit and stand. I took advice from a good friend of mine who had one, to make sure the sun shade would cover the child in the back, and that the front seat reclines enough to accommodate a sleeping child comfortably. I got a Joovy Caboose Ultralight sit and stand from www.strollerdepot.com, and I LOVE IT!! It's very lightweight and easy to use. I get compliments every where I go. It has even held two in the back and one in the front a time or too. I liked that I got a rain cover and the parent organizer included in the purchase price. The organizer isn't included every where, so make sure to check that before you buy. I hope this helps your efforts. Good Luck!

C., I got the Zooper for my twins and I would recommend it. It is heavy, but I don't mind that even thought I am petite. I think of it as extra exercise taking it in and out of the minivan and pushing it around. It fits through standard doorways, so that is convenient. It is very sturdy and seems quite comfortable for the kids. I also like the sun/rain shades.
If you want something lightweight, this is not the stroller for you.

C.,
I have a 1 year old and 3 year old. When the baby was born I researched strollers and looked for months to find the right one for me. I finally bought the Joovy Caboose, It is a sit and stand and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! My three year old would not have stayed in a side by side but with the sit and stand she feels BIG and can sit OR Stand. Check it out at Lonestar baby and children Just Goggle it I am not sure of the exact web address. Or Look Up the Joovy website. They also come in really Cool colors. I got the Orange and Black one. I think I paid @ 150.00 for it not to bad in the stroller price range. I would have paid much more! Hope this helps. Good Luck, S.
