Sick of Nausea

Please forgive me if this sounds a little silly.I have been feeling nauseated on and off for about a week now. I have no fever and haven't actually gotten sick yet. The first incident was on Mother's Day.I thought it was because my daughter was bouncing around the bed and jumping on me. I got so sick, I thought I would vomit. Well, this past Friday it happened again. I was wiping off the table and had to run to the bathroom. I have felt nauseated all day today. I have had a little bit of lower back pain and discomfort between my shoulder blades today, which is normal right before I start my period. Could this be a new PMS symptom or maybe I'm coming down with something. This is exactly how I felt when I was pregnant with my first child, but I had a tubal in 2005, so pregnancy is highly unlikely. Also, I have lost about 6 or 7 pounds in the last few weeks (not really trying to, just not as much appetite as normal) and have experienced heartburn a few times this past week.

What can I do next?

It could be PMS or you could be pregnant. I know a few ladies who got pregnant after a tubal. If you don't have a normal period this month or if the nausea continues or gets worse, go to your doctor just to make sure your symptoms aren't from something dangerous.

It does kinda sound like gallbladder. But, also i wonder if you are having yeast infection. I'm sure you'd know, but when i did some research it said yeast can live in us for a long time. It said the usual symptoms of itching, burning, etc.. but also nausea, headaches, abdominal pain, and pain between the shoulder blades.

I would do two things if I was you. First take a home PG test , your tubes if not tied right could and have in some case come untied. The other is see your Dr because something is not right it is more then likely nothing but you need to found out what it is

If this doesn't clear up after your period starts, then I'd get your gallbladder checked out. The pain in the shoulder, heart burn, weight loss and nausea can all be symptoms of gallbladder disease. If you had to have it removed, it is now a much easier surgery than in the olden days. Hope you get to feeling better very soon!

Hello. I get that way before my period also. You can take bendryal for nausea! Sorry my spelling is a little off. I used to have to take one for when I would get nausea. I had a tubal also and I was having pregnancy like symptoms. Missing my period, nausea, appetite loss and all that. I called my doctor and he prescribed a medication to take for ten days to get me back on schedule. He said I was having a horomone inbalance. That got me back on schedule. I still get the nausea feeling every once in awhile. Make sure you try to eat through out the day. Missing a meal can bring on some of those symptons. If you dont feel like eating a meal eat some crackers or fruit or something so your body wont feel like its not getting anything. I hope some of this helps.

You could be having some issues with your galbladder. I have those same symptoms when I have issues with mine. It sounds strange but that's what happens and it pretty common to have pain under your shoulder or in your back. I would look up a galbladder diet and try that for a couple days to see if it works and then see your doctor and let them know what how it went. Hope you feel better.

sorry I am late in answering this but I have been busy I would check either with your doctor or take a pregnancy test cause just cause it is highly unlikely doesn't mean it can't happen if you get my drift better to know early either way cause if it is something else better to catch it early good luck

See your obgyn for a pregnancy test anyway.
I know a woman who had one child after her tubes were tied so her husband then got a vasectomy. Six months later they found themselves pergnant again. The doctors told them it was about a one and a trillion chance and that it had something to do how the scar tissue had developed in both her and her husband that had left just enough space for things to slip past.

Hi L.,
I have endometrosis and have nausea when I would have my period even though I had a Hysterical-ectomy almost 2 years ago. (I had nausea a LOT b/f I had all the stuff removed).
If you don't have this situation-I'd make an apt w/ my Dr just to be safe-if you are Pregnant, you will need to see your Dr, if it's your gall-bladder (as others have suggested) you will have to see him/her, and if it's a hormone imbalance you will have to...
I'd make an apt just to be on the safe side-I have lost 3 relatives to cancer b/c they didn't think recurring symptoms were anything to worry about. I'm not trying to scare you, that was just a lesson I learned from my family/life.
Good Luck!

I dont want to scare you, but this could be a simple thing, or a sign of something more malicious. If this has persisted for more than a week - and you've taken a pregnancy test to confirm (tubals arent necessarily foolproof, and have been known to reverse) you should consult your doctor.

I know that tubals can grow back just like a vasectomy can. maybe you should try a test just to be safe. If you are about ready to start your period it should be able to pick up your pregnancy. You can get a test pretty cheap now a days so I would just try one out. Good luck.
