Showing This Early with 2Nd??

I'm only 8 weeks with my second, and already none of my pants fit! I knew I'd be bigger sooner after the first time around, but this seems ridiculous. When did you start showing with your second? Has anyone tried the bella band (or belly band, I forgot what it's called) and liked it?? Thanks!

What can I do next?

I dont button my pants and the band realy keeps them up, like if they were bitton and i feel really comfortable! Hope this helps!

J., it is completely normal, so don't worry :)

I'm actually pregnant with #3. With my first, I was about 7 months before I started showing, but was right about 6 weeks with the second one when I couldn't fit into my regular clothes. I got a little lucky this time around and was closer to about 10 weeks before I started having problems with buttoning my bigger pants lol

I found though that I go by another 4 weeks or so, just by wearing my longer shirts and taking a rubber band or hair band and wrapping it through the button hole and around the button and leaving my pants unbuttoned, nobody could ever tell :)

Yes, it's totally normal, it happened to me too. I'm now almost 35 weeks and no bigger than I was last pregnancy, just showing for a lot longer. Don't worry about it!

I distinctly remember showing about two days after I realized I was pregnant with my second child. Ok, maybe two weeks.

Hi J.~
I've got 2 kids, 6yr old son & 2yr old daughter. With my son, I was about 5 months before I started showing. However, with my daughter, I was only 6 weeks!!! My doctor kept joking with me about how quickly I started showing. At 6 weeks, I had to up my pants by 1 size! I know it's not very fun showing this quickly, but I have a good sense of humor and got used to it.
Good luck & congrats on the pregnancy!!

I have only had one pregnancy thus far, but used the bella band with my jeans for quite some time. I loved the fact that the only thing I needed to do was unbutton my pants to make them fit. I didn't need them bigger anywhere else, so it was perfect. It's worth a shot!

Just read Karen's post - so true!

I started showing the day I found out I was pregnant:) Seriously, this time, eventhough I did not eat more and increase food intake, but just started showing right away. Also, don't be intimdated by those pregnant ladies who have the tiny cute belly and are 9 months, every woman is different. Enjoy, in nine months you will have a new addition to your family!!

I have only one daughter, but I was in maternity pants at 8 weeks. I wasn't showing as much as my hips started spreading about five minutes after I got pregnant. Tried the band, but hated it--I felt too self conscious about my pants being unbuttoned, and I just didn't think it worked that well to keep them from falling all the way down.
