Hi Mamas~
I need a pair of sandals to wear to work that will be good for my feet. The bottom of my feet get sooooo sore. But I don't want them to look like orthopedic shoes. Last weekend I bought a pair of "FIT FLOPS" at Macy's & I thought i had found my answer. They fit like a glove and were comfortable in the store. But when I wore them aound the house my right foot in particular would not go all the way into the shoe and kept slipping back. And for $50.00 I had to take them back.
So if anyone has found a good comfortable sandal, please let me know.

My favorite shoes are Naot's. They're made in Israel and are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. The selection of sandals is vast and a lot are very cute. I'm not sure where they have a store that sells them near Mesquite, as I live in McKinney. There is a retailer here in downtown McKinney called The Little Red Hen, in case you're ever up here. There is a "where to buy" section on the website, though. Like the other poster said, they are expensive. I've found some good deals at the Little Red Hen on clearance shoes, though. If you don't find something you like there, they order them for you. Hope you find what you're looking for.

I second the suggestion for Naot's. I've constantly owned a pair since 1996--I wear one pair nearly every day until they wear out (usually takes 3 years--and I do wear them EVERY day, as a teacher, too!), then buy a new pair. I now live in McKinney, too, but I know they used to sell them (maybe still do) at the shoe store on the southwest corner of Mockingbird and 75 in Dallas.

My mom recently bought a pair of pretty Clarks sandals that go with everything. She loves them. When she wears them, she doesn't think about her feet at all. If she doesn't wear them, her feet are sore.

Bass shoes, I bought a black pair of sandals and they are very comfortable. I got them at the Bass shoe outlet in Hillsboro. However, you may be able to find some online or in other stores. They didn't have my size, however they ordered it for me and sent it to my home. It was on sale for $25 or $29, regularly in the $40's.

I have a bunion and foot problems and need somfortable shoes as I am wearing an orthotic insert until I can get my surgery in July.

I also bought some Born sandals. Born is a great brand, I got some black sandals that are comfortable. They were about $39. I've worn Born shoes before and they are very comfortable. Born is in many shoe stores, Macy's, Dillard's, Famous Footwear and I got mine at Grapevine Mills Outlet mall at Famous Factory Shoe Outlet. They had many different styles of sandals there in different colors, styles and even in wide widths. I wear a 9 wide shoe and the wide shoes are very hard to find in something that I like!

I have a lot of foot issues and I am currently going through physical therapy. Seems like I walk too much, LOL...how does that happen.

My Dr. recommends Merrill, Earth and a lot more. I have 2 pair of Merrill that I do like and are not the ugliest in the world. I for the Earth Exer-Fit and my Dr. was not crazy about that one because it has a negative heel. I've not been able to waer it much because eright now he has my feet taped up and I am only wearing my Asics.

I do wear some or the really cute pairs of dressy flip flops but not for a long period of time.

Good luck.

I so understand. The Walking Company has some that will probably work, but they aren't cheap. They have the best selection I have been able to find. They have stores in Dallas, but look at their website to get an idea: http://www.thewalkingcompany.com/
The cork are good.
Best of Luck.
