Shopping Consignment

I LOVE shopping Consignment Store's for my 3 year old daughter. It seems ridiculous to buy items new when they only seem to wear clothes for a short time before my child out grows them. I found an AWESOME consignment store located in Parker and bought many wonderful things there reasonably priced. We went there over the weekend only to discover they closed up, moved out. The only sign was a For Lease sign in the window! I am devastated.

Can any of you share with me your favorite consignment stores in the Parker area? Lone Tree? Highlands Ranch? I also keep a close eye out on Craigslist for deals as well.

Thank you!

What can I do next?

There is another consignment store in Parker called Tumbleweeds pretty much around the corner from the old Children's Orchard. The owner is great and sends out emails when she needs things and has things on sale. It's across from Party On at Long's Way and Progress.

There is a place called Children's Orchard right off of Dransfeldt across from the post office. There is also a place called Tumbleweeds right near there too. I am not sure if either of these are the one's that closed. Down in the plaza with the McDonald's and Baskin Robbins there is another consignment shop as well. Up in Aurora at Hampden and Chambers there is one called Little Tykes that is pretty good too. Bearly Worn moved to Smoky Hill and Buckley and they are okay.

Do you go to the Just Between Friends sales? There is one in Highlands Ranch this weekend, and other ones in the Denver area throughout the year. http://www.highlandsranch.jbfsale.com/

You can also try out Zearly.com. I'm thinking about trying them out. You can do it from the comfort of your home and recieve gift cards to Target and Amazon for the clothes you exchange in. Hope this helps. Beats having to drive around and schedule appointmentes.

Tumbleweeds is great! It is a block to the east and south of Children's Orchards - Closed. Cotton Kids in the McDonalds parking lot just moved to there new space next to Baskin Robins and they just renovated and it is a nice store. There is a good one in Castle Rock as well in the downtown area. Good Luck!
