Shoes for My Daughter!

My daughter is almost 10 months old and I want to get her shoes. I've never put any shoes on her - recently I took her to Target and tried to put on a pair, and her little feet were too wide. Where is a good place to get wide shoes without spending an arm and a leg?

What can I do next?

robeez, robeez, robeez. I get mine online (ebay and such) just watch the prices since you can buy them locally for about $28. It's said that as kids are learning to walk they should have soft soles so thier feet can "feel" the ground and learn to balalnce that way. Enjoy!

Definitely check out the Robeez! Target does carry an off brand of these as well. If you are looking for something a little sturdier, or more "shoe" looking, I would suggest the pedipeds.

M.,
Try Robeeze! I get them from E-bay so they are less expensive. One year I had Grandma buy a pair for her Xmas gift.
They are all leather, so warm and protect the bottoms of feet. They have a soft elastic band that keeps them on and a soft sole which is excellent for babies learning to walk.
Shoot me an e-mail at ____@____.com I think I have a pair my daughter out grew- you can have them if they are still here.

I second the suggestion to buy Robeez. They are really great for all feet sizes and they are supposed to be great when kids are learning to walk. They cost about $20-25, but you only need one or two pairs and they should last for close to 6 months. These are the only shoes my kids wore from 6-12 months!

My DD also has wide feet, the only shoes that I have found that fit her are stride rite, but they are expensive. I heard that you can get them at JC Penny for $30. Or you could try looking on e-bay after you have her feet measured.

I would go to stride rite and get her foot measured. Then you know exactly what size you are looking for in any brand. I personally have never heard of the robeez, but may give them a try. We go to stride rite to get my son measured then go to Ross and Marshalls for his shoes.

Payless is a great place. They don't have a big selection, but they normally have cute girl shoes. The shoes are normally under $12 and they ususally have a buy one get one half off. I have the same problem with my little boy who just turned 10 months also. Good luck

I just bought the Hibiscus style of Robeez from Nordstrom. My little girl is 9 months old and I got the 12-18 month size. They go with all her clothes. My little boy has a wide foot like his dad, but it is hard to tell if she does also. I get my little 3 year old his tennis shoes from New Balance every year because they carry wide.
