Shoes for Baptism?
Hi ladies! My 8 month old son will be baptized in a few weeks. He is going to wear an adorable bubble romper. He is only crawling not walking but will he need to wear christening shoes or will dress socks be enough? I appreciate your thoughts and/or experiences!
thanks!

If you find shoes, great. But don't stress if you don't. I think little socks are perfect and believe me, no one will be looking at his feet during the ceremony! They'll all be adoring his beautiful face as he's being held by his Godmother!
Have a blessed Christening,
G.

My two daughters were baptized barefoot. My son had white socks with crosses that my mother-in-law bought him. I defintely would not stress over footwear. Congrats on your son & his baptism!

I think as long as they are white it doesnt matter he is still a baby. We used little while shoes plain nothing special but he looked sooo cute.Either way it will be a great day shoes or no shoes ;o)

If you really want then put him in the shoes, otherwise I just did socks for my sister's wedding and my little dude was only a few months old and wore a little pants suit.
