Prell!!! It's perfect for oily hair and really cheap. Also, I like the Ausie awesome volume conditioner. I use prell a few times a week for the same issue.

My hair gets so oily during pregnancy that the only thing I can use is Purology's clarifying line (green bottles). It's expensive, but I can wash my hair every other day and it looks great, as opposed to using other shampoos and conditioners and looking like a greaseball after about 6 hours. Ulta carries it, as does Sally.

I have very oily hair and I have found that using a 2-N-1 works great. The conditioner seems to be what makes my hair so oily, so using the mix of shampoo and conditioner works great for me. The lighter the formula the better. I really like "Aussie Aussome volume 2 in 1 shampoo". I hope this helps.

Id really like to know what your usuing and why you feel your hair is oily? I love Paul Mitchell Elixir shampoo, you can only get it in a salon that exclusive sells PM...a good conditioner too. Some people think because they have oily hair or skin that they dont need to condition or moisturize but you do! It will over compensate for dryness with natural oils.

Talk to your hair dresser or the receptionist at your hair salon. Ask if they have samples or a really good shampoo for oily hair. My hair is oily and I get a perm every 3 months, for the past 30 years. It keeps the oilyness down and I find it easier to work with my hair. You could also try coloring your hair. Since coloring and perming dry out your hair it can help to control the oil.

Pssst dry shampoo is great! It's hard to find, but you can keep it in your car or desk and spray it on mid-day to take out the grease!

I don't know of a shampoo, but would suggest IF you use conditioner, don't use it on your scalp.. apply it an inch away from the scalp.. conditioner can make the hair really get oily. Also, Keep in mind, that which drys out oil, promotes MORE oil.. example.. when ppl are teens, it's not uncommon for them to try things like alcohol on their skin to sop up the oil. While this works at first, shortly thereafter, the body's response is to produce even more oil overcompensate for the natural oil lost...therefore, my advice... use something for "normal hair" which I hate to use that term as I think we ALL have normal hair. but it's what shampoo makes use to label their products..

I have always has oily hair. I have to wash my hair everyday or I am a grease ball! The best shampoo/conditioner I have found is Aussie. You can get big bottles with a pump at Walmart. It is called Aussie Cleanse and Mend. When you apply conditioner, avoid your roots. Also, avoid touching and running your fingers through your hair, that adds to the problem.

i have always had really oily hair, i use 2 different kinds of shampoo, not at the same time though. garnier fructis is a really good one, they have options for curly, straight, frizzy, ect. and another one i recently started using was aussie, both are really great and about the same price. if you want to go the expensive route, redkin is amazing, but at 28$ or so for a one liter bottle its high priced... but its worth it. that stuff is amazing. not to mention 1 liter lasted me for almost a year. but it depends on how often you wash your hair and how much you use.
