Shaklee Products-Going Green
Hello-
I'd like to know if anyone has heard of Shaklee products. They are all non-toxic/ no chemical products that are safe for you, your family and the environment. The company conducts 83,000 quality control test annually to verify purity and potency of their formulas. Not to mention everyone of their products is backed by a 100% money back guarantee! They carry everything from household cleaners and detergents to beauty, nutritional, and weight loss products! These products have been recommended by OPRAH and has featured them on her show! I'm thinking of selling these products but want some feedback and tell me what you think...pros and cons. I don't want to get involved with the company and then be stuck with the products and lose out.
thanks much!!

I have been using Shaklee of about 2 years now. I do recommend them but I do not know much about the business. Although my friends mom has done it for like 20 years and loves it. I would start with using the products for a while, sharing them with friends and then see if you want to tackle it as a business. Good luck!

Sell Avon or Tupperware or take in another child if you need more money. I don't think much of Shaklee. You will get stuck, at least with Avon or Tupperware you will get stuck with something you can gift away or keep.

Hi M.,
Your question sounds more like an ad than a question. :) I actually considered Shaklee, but after reading some negative information about them, I decided to go with a different direct-selling company (well-known for its safer, greener products). The company that I chose sells a consumable product, has no inventory, requires a minimal investment, does business in a fun (and different) way, has a fantastic promotion structure, has a 30-year old globally-recognized retail brand name (but the home division is young and about to explode in growth), is in magazines and/or recommended by celebrities in just about every fashion magazine (and Oprah as well) and gives back to the community as a part of how we do business. You can tell I did some research. :) It sounds like you have researched it as well, so I would definitely say heavily consider what is important to you and whether that business lines up with what you're passionate about. If it's affordable, easy and fun to sell, that makes a HUGE difference too! :) Hope that helps.

M., I am a loyal customer to Shaklee- I think it's an excellent company with excellent products. A lot of the product is sold on line, so I don't know how much product you would have to invest in. Good Luck!

Hi M.,
My mom has sold Shaklee for about 10-15 years now...the products are great. But, for my mom, she doesn't like trying to "sell" things and does not sell them for any real benefit to her -- other than passing along a good product. That having been said, even without trying most of the family has come around and orders through her. Good luck with whatever you decide.
Thank you,
M. W.
