Hello to everyone, I was wondering what you thought about how old a child should be before he/she would enjoy Dutch Wonderland or Sesame Place. My little girl will be 14 months later this month. Do you think she's too little this summer and I should wait on both until next year? Or do you think she'd like it?

What can I do next?

We took our son to Dutch Wonderland last year and he was 15 or 16 months old. He did enjoy it, there were a lot of smaller rides geared toward kids his age. It was his first amusement park experience and he loves them now. He's 2.5 years old and we're now thinking about taking him to Knoebel's later this summer. Good luck!

I think you should wait until she's at least a year older before taking her to Sesame Place. We took our daughter last year when she was one month shy of 3yo and she had fun, but there was a lot that she couldn't do. And, she's a very tall child for her age. Over all she had fun, but I can't say it was worth the price of admission at that age.

I'm not sure about Sesame Place (haven't been there since I was a kid), but I'd wait until next year for Dutch Wonderland. We took our daughter when she was almost 2 (21 months, I think) and she enjoyed it, but she wasn't tall enough for a number of the rides she wanted to ride. Then when we took her at almost 3, she had a lot more fun because she was able to ride most of the rides she was interested in. Your daughter will just be limited in what she can do this year. If you wait until next year, she'll be able to do a lot more and then she'll probably love it!

I have never been to Seasme Place but I have been to Dutch Wonderland. Personally I think 14 months is a little young. I think you are better off waiting until next year/ I dont think you would get your money's worth this year. I would take her to the zoo or something along those lines this year.
