Self Tanner? - Chantilly,VA

Does anyone know of a good self tanner that won't streak too bad and doesn't smell terrible? My legs are terribly pale white and we are planning a trip to the beach next month and would like a little bit of color. What would you recomend?

What can I do next?

I have fair skin and I love Jergens!!! I buy the fair line and then once I get some color I move up to the medium tone.

If you're as glow in the dark/see through white as I am, don't even bother; save your money. No matter what, you'll look like a mix between Snooki and an oompa loompa ;) I've tried them all and nothing has worked, not even the stuff my dermatologist recommended. I'm ghostly all year round (until my freckles pop out, that's all the color I get!!)

My daughter and I use one from Bath and Body. It does not smell too bad. It is a bronzer so you get some color right away and it self tans.

Daughter has also used L'Oreal and likes it a lot except for the smell.

Guinot is my favorite

I like the lotion kind at Bath and Body Works (from their True Blue spa line). They have a spray one too but it doesn't work as well. It really works and looks natural.

I've used Clinique's and liked it. Haven't tried any others.

Don't laugh-Jergen's.

natures gate has a lovely natural-looking lotion that also has a very light pleasant fragrance. but don't use it every day, or the palms of your hands (used to apply it) turn darker!

try the neutrogena micro mist.. i just did it yesterday and it is a gradual tanner so if you miss a spot you can see it soon and fix it on the next application.. i got my husband to highlight my abs with it and now my stomach looks way more toned than it really is LOL plus it dries super fast, doesnt orange and smells great (and doesn't stain your clothes, i wore white linen shorts with no problems like 20 min after app). And it does wonders on stretch marks. Best product ever.
