Hi,
I have bins of stuffed animals! I would like to get rid of many of them to make room for more toys. What can I do with them besides throwing them in the trash?? Any ideas?

Hi N. - There are numerous local shelters that would LOVE them! In fact, I am getting ready to donate a bunch of stuffed animals myself through our church - they get taken directly to skid row...where so many homeless children have nothing. Every year on Christmas Eve my family and friends visit a Convelescent Center in Downey and we sing Christmas Carols up and down the halls while passing out stuffed animals. They people really enjoy it! Most of them do not have family to visit them. If they are in pretty good shape we would love to take them off your hands.Email me at ____@____.com

Donating them to a shelter or a church.
if they are clean and in excellent condition like new, donate them to the local police dept, they give them to kid when they are in a situation, call the non emergency number to your local station ask who you speak to about the donation.
You can also list them on Freecycle.com. A number of different charities use that site.
Donate them to a local hospital, shelter, school or library.
