Seeking Swim Lessons

Hi H., my 10 month old son takes swim lessons at DePaul University's fitness center--Ray Meyer Fitness Center. They are pretty cheap (I think like $60 for ten weeks) and they have a class for 6mo-15 months at 8:30am on both saturday and sunday, and another class for 15 months-3 years right after that--each class is only 30 minutes but you can play afterwards. the teacher is really great and the kids all seem to have a great time and are actually learning.

Hi, H.. I took my 2 year old to the Chicago Park District. If you find their website you can search the parks in your area and se what they offer. It was a lot of fun, inexpensive, and they have a highly trained staff. Good luck!

You can check the Chicago Park District, but classes do not start for a while. I believe registration is some time in April, but I can't remember off hand. Check Chicagoparkdistrict.com. Click on programs--it will then let you know when the list of classes comes out as well as, when registration begins. Good luck.

Try your local YMCA. They have all sorts of programs and their swim lessons are great.
