Is this a troll? No, of course a three year old (or 3 months?) does not have surgery for a hemorrhoid.

If this is a real question, take your baby to a doctor if you are worried.

Good heavens! Your 3 year old has a hemorrhoid? Has a doctor TOLD you that it is a hemorrhoid? Or do you just THINK that it's a hemorrhoid?

What are you feeding the baby that he would strain a hermorrhoid out of his anus? You need help from the doctor, perhaps a nutritionist to deal with this. If your regular pediatrician has not mentioned a pediatric gastroenterologist, then ask him or her to refer you to one.

There are MANY things to do before even thinking of surgery. Who mentioned surgery to you? You need some real help. Get it now.

Surgery would be the very last, final option I'd say. There are lots of things to try before then. Try some home remedies first, but of course work with your doctor too. I've gotten a hemorrhoid for the first time now that I'm in my 2nd pregnancy. I tried several home remedies and so far cornstarch is working the best. I simply apply a good coat to the area after peeing or pooping.

Some kids simply have a hard time with digestion, but you'll also need to attack the problem from the inside out, in a way. Meaning, get more fiber into his diet somehow. The doctor should recommend some fiber supplements if you can't get him to eat enough.

PB8 to balance the bowels....maybe even just 1/2 each night. If that doesn't work in a few weeks, then add Collinsonia Root from Standard Process. One of those two things has gotten rid of them for every person I know.

Consider decreasing/stopping dairy, as that can constipate....even if you don't think he is constipated.
