Seeking Spanish Teachers/tutors for Young Children

I am interested in finding information on Spanish tutors/teachers in the Lewisville area. I am not necessarily starting right now but I am interested in finding the availability.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Thanks for everyone's reply. I will look through them and use them to make a decision when I am ready to begin tutoring for the kiddos!

Hi S.,

I have been tutoring home-schooled children in Spanish for the past year. I am a stay-at-home mom of three but have a degree in Spanish and majored in Early Education.

You can e-mail me at ____@____.com

Hi S.! First let me commend you for seeking this Spanish exposure for your children! A wonderful book called The Bilingual Edge came out last year and shows through research just what an incredible benefit this can be for our kids! We are raising our preschooler bilingually and I started my own business a year ago teaching preschoolers Spanish.

My business is called Enseniños and I will be offering classes at the Children's Courtyard in nearby Coppell in the fall on Tuesday and Friday afternoons and will likely also be in the Lewisville Lab CCY. I have tutored Spanish at a high school and collegiate level previously. I minored in it in college and then lived in Costa Rica, Central America for a year and have spent time in several Spanish-speaking countries.

Please get in touch with me if you might be interested in working something out for Tuesdays and Fridays when I'll be up in your area (I am based out of Bedford). I'm open to the possibility of offering a small group class in someone's home in the area on those afternoons either prior to my CCY classes or afterwards. I can be reached at ____@____.com or ###-###-####

Also, since I see you're interested in possibly teaching Spanish, we might talk about that in another year or so as I continue to expand my business. Don't you love win-win situations?!
