Seeking Safe Bikini Waxing in San Antonio

My teenage daughter would like to get a bikini waxing -- I know several places that advertise this service, but would like to take her somewhere safe & hygenic. We live on the North side of town. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

any reputable spa/salon....my friend likes to go to the aveda salon at lifetime fitness...you don't have to be a member to use their services.

I have always been very happy with Isabelle's Day spa in Roger's Ranch.

Hope this helps.

Are you talking about a bikini wax or a brazilian wax? My reason for this question is, I truly believe our hair, such as in our nose, and groin area are one of our first line of defense, besides our skin(actually first). What I am getting at is if she wants a complete wax (brazilian) than I suggest you do some more research because I have seen many gals/women get acute & chronic vag. infections from having no hair in that area. Now if it's just the pubic line, then that is different. I worked in OBGYN for a very long time and the ones who got the most infections had no hair. This was my observation and when I advised to allow certain areas of hair to grow back, the infections stopped. Just a thought for you, but not scientifically proven.

There's a fabulous place in Helotes called All About Me Day Spa. It's a place that offers a spa-like experience for not much more than a regular nail place. You get free drinks (wine for you, sodas for your daughter). The place is very clean and beautiful. I get all my waxes there (including brazillian) and have had nothing but wonderful experiences with them. They are great about making sure you are happy with the result and service. And everyone speaks english in this place - and not as a second language so there are no misunderstandings. Good luck in finding a place that works for you and your daughter!

I'll second Sarah--Isabelle's is GREAT!!! That's the only place I go. . .
