Seeking RV Parking in and Around Aurora

Hello All,
My husbands Grandparents are traveling from NM to see us in the beginning of May. We are looking for a nice place for them to park in their very Large RV for a few nights. We live in Aurora,IL and the Camp they used in Sugar Grove last time is closed. They prefer a place with electric hook up and a dumping site for sewer. I know Walmart will let them park for free, but we would like to find a nicer option. Thank you in advance for any help.

What can I do next?

My mom travels from NM as well with her motor home and camps out in Sycamore, about 30 minutes or less from you. It is an RV park with a small lake for swimming/fishing. It used to be called Tyrell's Lake, but I think it is now just called Sycamore RV park... I am sure it would be easy to find on 411.. Sycamore is not very big! It is on RT 23... easy to get to from I88.. Good luck!

There is a Jellystone in Millbrook about 1/2 an hour away.

Try the Fox River Resort in Newark, IL. It's just 25 minutes from Aurora on Rt. 71. It's right on the Fox River.

Not sure if this is too far, Empress Casino in Joliet also has an RV park. We have not stayed there, but we have used the dump station after trips.

There's a very nice campground in Sheridan. It's about 45 minutes from Aurora if they don't mind that drive.

Is it Bliss Woods that has closed??? Not sure that that's Sugar Grove, but it's at Bliss Road and 47. If so, that's too bad, it was a very nice camping spot.

Here's something, on the northwest side of St. Charles.
Paul Wolff Forest Preserve
Big Timber Road off Randall Road | St. Charles, IL | ###-###-####
15 minutes north of St. Charles. Trails, forests, 48 vehicle camps, 8 with 50-amp; 18 primitive tent sites;
playground; stocked fish ponds; no reservations accepted.

Another suggestion: call the park district offices in your surrounding towns and ask them. It's first-hand information, and you can get All the information at one time.
