Seeking Referrals for a Pediatrician in NW Fw/saginaw/ Lake Worth Area
Hello Mama's,
Well due to some recent events with my current pediatrician I am looking to change to a different doctor. Just to give a little background info, my current pediatrician is always busy. I have not been able to get an appointment the last three times I have called. Two of the times my son had an ear infection and needed urgent medical care. so, I had to end up going to CareNow and get the prescription for antibotics. I called today to make an appointment becuase my son sprained his foot over the weekend and will not bare weight on it and what a surpise, they don't have any openings available! I know the new peditrician will have to be covered under my insurance plan but I'll check if they are covered under plan after I hear your suggestions. TIA!!
P.

We live in North Fort Worth and our pediatrician is off of University and 30. It only takes about 20 minutes to get there we have never had a problem getting in to see him. Cook Children's Forest Park ###-###-####. We see Dr. Brad Mercer, but we have seen most of doctors in the practice they are all wonderful. One big plus is that they are open on Saturday and Sunday starting at 8:30 a.m. We have been there many time on the weekends. Not to many pediatricians offer this so well worth the drive.

I really like Dr. Jones (both of them) at Fort Worth Peds. But I just switched to Cooks Childrens NE-in Hurst. I use Dr. Dalton. I have had big issues w/the Dr I was using in Benbrook, so I went where my best friend goes. I would suggest either one. I would have gone back to Dr. Jones, but in a panic 2 weeks ago-I forgot about him. I used him b4 I moved away yrs ago. Good Luck w/whomever you choose.
