Seeking Recos for Fridge Repair on North Side

My refrigerator is not working. The freezer isn't freezing anything, and the fridge isn't even keeping things cold. It's a G.E., and only about 8 years old. Does anyone know of a good and fair fridge repairperson who would come to the northside?

We had the same thing happen and Sears came out to service it even though we could not prove that it was purchased at Sears. They were pretty reasonable (I think about $75 which is about what anyone will charge to come to your home). Good luck with law school finals--I have tremendous respect for everything you are balancing in your life!

You could try to fix it yourself by troubleshooting the problem at repairclinic.com. We fixed our refrigerator problem that way. They sell any part you might need and deliver it pretty much the next day.
