Seeking Professional Photograhper for Maternity Photos
Hi ladies,
This is my first pregnancy and I would love to get some maternity & new born baby shots, but the prices I see are just ridiculously expensive and I cannot seem to justify paying that money when we have so many new expenses coming up with our baby on the way. Do you guys have any suggestions? Did you get any maternity shots? I am local in Los Angeles.

Thank you guys sooo much! I am going through all your recommendations. Some of them are expensive (they charge $250-350 a session). I am really looking for something cheaper than that. I know, they deserve more, but I really can't afford to pay more :( Therefor I am looking for someone who may be new, who may need practice experience, or just need the extra cash and would not charge me too much. I also want the photos to be in natural light, outside, and artistic. If you know people that fit the bill, I would love to check them out!
P.S: I am planning on getting these shots preferably end of April beg of May

are you planning ahead or do you need these done very soon? I have a friend that is just starting a photography business and though she is new, she is VERY good. she lives in florida but i think she is coming out to LA soon.

Try Karina Pires. She started as a wedding photographer, then her former clients started coming to her for maternity and baby shots. Not sure how reasonable her prices are since I did not use her, but she is someone I've heard of in the L.A. area.

She is actually a good friend of mine and takes beautiful pictures. Especially if you're looking for less formal, more natural looking shots.

Try Ayumi Kameda Pantell. She is just wonderful and her prices are great. She even offers a cd with the digital images of your photos for some of her packages which is unheard of for most photographers.
