Seeking Playgroups in Snohomish County

hi there! first of all I have a 2 year old boy as well as a 5 year old girl and 7 year old boy... Have you looked into the Moms club yet? you can google it and it should tell you who the president or the welcome person is to call and set up a meet and greet. There are sooo many resources available through the moms club... when we moved here from Ohio 5 years ago i was pregnant with my girl and when i had her they set up two weeks worth of dinners through the club for me and my family. They were truly amazing... as well as setting up playdates for kids inthe same age group and letting you know all of the kid events in the area... it's really a great organization. hope this helps!!

Welcome to the area. I assume since you're in Everett that y'all are Navy? Anyway, I live just south of you in Lynnwood near 196th and would love to meet a new face that doesn't whine or babble at me.

My kids are 5 years (in a few weeks) and 18 months.

Another good resource is Craigslist.com and the Mukilteo Library has storytime on Wed. at 10 am... :)

It's not too late to join a preschool, I'm on the board of the lynnwood/meadowdale co-op, we meet at edmonds community college in lynnwood, just south of everett. I think there are still two spots in the 2/3 year old class if you're interested! It's been the best way for us to meet other moms and kids her age, we love it!! There's also a lot of classes at the local rec centers, we met some friends through those too.

HI! me too...just recently moved to bothell! I have been going a little bit crazy with cabin fever because we dont know anyone out here! I have a 4 yr old girl and a 2 yr old boy (too) ;) his bday is in may.

We live in the Mill Creek area, sounds like not too far from your area. I am in charge of playgroups for a group of women from the Mill Creek area. We meet every Tuesday from 10-12. In different parks/spots around the area. Email me if you are interested in receiving email notifications for our playgroups. God bless you.

Go to Meetup.com. There are quite a few playgroups that use it to manage their gatherings.

I, too am new to the area and have three kids (2, 4, &6) They are about to all have birthdays in Nov. and Dec. and I can relate to what you and all the other responders are going through. My 4 year old is in a 3 D. a week,half D. preschool and my oldest is in the first grade at Columbia Elementary. I would love to be around people whose average age was well above 4. I live in the Mukilteo-S. Everett area as well. I may try some of their suggestions as well and would also welcome getting together with some of you all, too.
