Seeking Playgroup in Clarksville Area

I have a 4 year old and she needs to be more active with children her own age. Is there a group that offers playtime for either free or a reasonable rate? If so when and where. Tell me as much about the group as possible. It doesn't have to neccessarily be a daycare. Also it needs to be one where I can attend with my 9 month old and possibly my 9 year old, if daddy isn't home while the group is meeting.

What can I do next?

I am in a yahoogroup called Mommies of Clarksville. I am sure you could do a search for it. They have weekly playgroups, activities, parties, family outings as well as mommy night outs.

I too am a member of the Mommies of Clarksville. I am the owner of the group and have been with it for a long time. It is a great group and we try and keep the amount for the playdates low or free. We do many different things. We have family fun day, Moms night outs and all kinds of things going on. Many of us go to MOPS on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 9:30-12. It has done wonders for my daughter who is a little clingy. she has gotten a lot better.

I know that I have the same problem so I started taking my daughter to the YMCA. It really cheap and there is plenty of children in the play area so you can just sign them in and Workout or swim or whatever you want to do there. It really nice and there is a lot of activities there. I hope that this helped with your problem.

Have you tried to get her into the pre-k system in Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools? I enrolled my 4 year old son this year and he is having a blast. It has also helped him with seperation form me. I'm a stay at home mom and my kids never went to any daycare or such. You should look into it. Hope this helps.
