Another mommy and me class that's GREAT is Play Away, they have a location in Lakewood Ranch, and one in Sarasota Square Mall. www.playaway.com for more details. 40 Carrots has some great classes to take with your kids, www.fortycarrots.com If you're looking for something free, the librarys have "tot time" that you can meet people through as well. I know Braden River branch on SR70 near Lockwood Ridge is Wednesday mornings, can't remember exactly what time but give them a call.

A fantastic site to find things to do is www.whatshappeningmanatee.com they have tons of information on there.

Hi L.,
I have been attending Gymboree (stage 2)(6-10 months) class in Sarasota with my 8 month old boy and he LOVES it! He laughs and plays with all the other babies. The class is on Monday's from 11:15 - 12:00. You can even sign up for a free trial class on their website (http://www.gymboreeclasses.com/b2c/customer/home.jsp)

Hi! My name is V. and I have a 10month old baby boy named Talan. We live in Bradenton and I am interested in joining a playgroup also! Maybe we could just get together and start one! I will keep an eye out and let you know if I do find some activities. You can also check out whatshappeningmanatee.com and they have a lot of different local activities going on. Good luck! V.
